Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the connections of a filler with high pressure gas containers, such as for example gas bomb, of various kinds having different heights, the filler being used for filling gas into the high pressure gas containers, by rotatably arranging both connecting ends of branched filling pipes, respectively, with respect to a main filling pipe. CONSTITUTION:A branched filling pipe 10 connected to a main filling pipe 3 through a valve 4, has a L-shaped coupling 12 which is connected at one end 12a to the valve 4 and at the other end 12b to an end fitting 13 projecting from the periphery of one end of a pipe 11 and having an opening, in a fluid-tight and rotatable manner. Further, at the periphery of the other end of the pipe 11 there is provided a projected end fitting 14 onto which is mounted a box nut 15 for connecting the fitting 14 to a valve 6 of a container A. When gas is filled into the container A connected with such a branched filling pipe 10 in case that any difference in the height of the valve is appreciated due to the different height of the container A. The pipe 11 is rotated about the other end 12b of the L shaped coupling 12 as a pivot point in order to be adjusted to the height of the valve 6, before the box nut 15 is tightened for connecting the pipe 11 to the valve 6.
