Abstract

PURPOSE:To reproduce a high-quality picture, by securing an accurate scan on a recorded video track with a video head during reproduction. CONSTITUTION:The output signals (RF signals) of video heads 1 and 2 are supplied to amplifiers 9 and 10 via rotary transformers 7 and 8, respectively and then supplied to an output terminal 34 through a video head changeover switch 11 and then an FM demodulator 33 as well as to a synchronous wave detector 13 functioning as a multiplying means via an envelope wave detector 12. The output signal of the detector 13 is supplied to low-pass filters 16-19, and the output signals of these filters are added at 36 and 40 together to be supplied to high pressure resistant amplifiers 31 and 32. These outputs are then supplied to electromechanical transducers 21 and 22 in the form of the displacement signals. In such way, a scanning period of the heads 1 and 2 is divided into two sections respectively to ensure the highly efficient correction of a shift of track.
