Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize the supply and discharge of an ink by moving a head under the conditions where an opening end of a liquid-reserving pipe connected to a movable tank at one end thereof and a part of a liquid supply pipe are fixed. CONSTITUTION:The ink in a main tank 10 is supplied into the movable tank 3 through the supply pipe 9. To the movable tank 3 is connected the liquid-reserving pipe 12, the other end of which is opened. A point of the supply pipe 9 and the opened end of the liquid-reserving pipe 12 are fixed at a fixing point 8. A supply pipe 7 and the liquid-reserving pipe 12 are moved horizontally along an arc of circle with the fixing point 8 as a center concurrently with the movement of a head/tank part 1, so that a centrifugal force is exerted on the ink in both pipes to generate an ink-feeding force, supplying the ink from the main tank 3.
