Abstract

PURPOSE:To make uniform the usage of outgoing lines, by monitoring, detecting and discriminating the usage state of the outgoing lines, through the provision of an outgoing line monitor between outgoing lines and a common controller in a telephone exchanger. CONSTITUTION:An outgoing line monitor 5 is provided between the outgoing lines and a common controller 6. The monitor 5 is provided with an outgoing line usage detection circuit 8, count circuit every line 9, memory circuit 10, line usage number of times discriminating circuit 11, in-line-group average sharing circuit 12, and line selection circuit 13, and the outgoing line allocation located information from the device 6 in which the line is selected with the output of the circuit 13 is transmitted to the in-line-group average sharing circuit 12 with a transmission circuit 7. The usage state of the outgoing lines is counted with the circuits 8, 9 and this count value is stored in the memory circuit 10. Further, a line in which the usage is less is discriminated with the circuit 11 and the circuit 12 makes average sharing within the line group.
