Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for switch energizing operation by providing a switch means (pyroelectric type infrared ray sensor) which is conducted according to prescribed infrared rays and transmits source voltage to the back part of a camera. CONSTITUTION:A pyroelectric type infrared ray sensor 10 is provided near the eyepiece or winding lever in the back part of a camera. Now when a photographer holds the camera or views the finder, the temp. of the sensor 10 rises and positive voltage is generated. The sensor 10 is DC-biased by a CMOS inverter 14. The voltage generated in the sensor 10 is made into positive pulses by inverters 14, 16 and these pulses are connected to the base of a transistor 18. Thereby, transistors 18, 28 and then transistors 30-1, 30-2,-30-N are conducted, and the source voltage is supplied to an exposure operation/display circuit 36. Since with such constitution the electric power source is turned on simply when the photographer holds the camera, the need for switch energizing operation is eliminated.
