Abstract

PURPOSE:To firmly clamp a winding in the axis direction and an iron yoke as well by a method wherein reinforcing plates are fixed between both flanges of U-shaped steel and the lower parts are widely expanded. CONSTITUTION:Reinforcing plates 7 are fixed between flanges 12, 13 of a U-shaped steel 4 and notches 14 are provided at the contact part of the flange 13 so that the lower end surface may contact with the upper surface of the flange 13 at winding side and the upper surfaces of winding supporting insulators 3 and contact surfaces 15 are expanded. Therefore, even if the winding expands in the radius direction, the winding supporting insulators 3 can firmly be clamped in the axial direction by the wide contact surfaces of the reinforcing plates 7 of metal fittings 4. An iron core yoke can more firmly be clamped. Furthermore, strength at the connecting section of a suspension bar around the middle of two reinforcing plates is also improved.
