Abstract

PURPOSE:To hold and contain batteries different in size by providing a plurality of supporting members to support batteries movably toward radius direction of the batteries. CONSTITUTION:A pair of edge plates 2, 3 are fixed on a receiving table 1 which is fixed in a cabinet of a portable radio receiver and the likes, a plurality of supporting members 23 are provided between the edge plates, and batteries 26, 27 are supported and contained. Supporting members 23 are provided movably to radius direction of the batteries 26, 27 to contain batteries different in size. The supporting members 23 are attached between a supporting disk 9 which is engaged with an adjusting screw 6 comprising conductive material penetrating rotatably through the edge plate 2 and a supporting disk 13 which is engaged to a sleeve 12 provided on the edge plate 3 through connecting plates 20, 21. The supporting disk 9 is moved to move the supporting disk 23 into radius direction by turning the knob 7 of the adjusting screw 6. A conical spring 16 which serves also as a negative terminal plate is fixed on the inside surface of the supporting disk 13 and connected to a lead wire 17.
