Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a device for VTR which excels in the economical performance and contributes to a process of high quality signals with an advantage for miniaturization, by installing three switching circuits, etc. to realize a multifunction application of a delaying device. CONSTITUTION:A circuit including three switching circuits SW1-SW3 is used as shown in the diagram. In the reproduction mode, a 1H delaying device 17 functions to separate both the luminance and chrominance signal components. If a dropout occurs, a dropout detector 16 detects the FM center frequency for example and delivers a detection signal when no FM center frequency exists. Thus the 3rd switching circuit SW3 is set at the side of a terminal a3 to be selected. In this case, the device 17 possesses a stocking function for the information equivalent to 1H, and this information is repetitively used by a horizontal line. The separating function for the luminance and chrominance signal components is secured for the device 17 also in the recording mode.
