Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize the modulation of a color TV signal without giving any change to the hue, by coding a picture signal, modulating the starting point of the writing address with a specified function and memorizing the signal after a compensation of the hue. CONSTITUTION:A color TV signal (a) supplied to a terminal A is coded by a coder 1, and a coded signal (b) is separated to a luminance signal (c) and a chrominance signal (d) through a YC separator 2. The signal (c) passes through a delaying device 3, and the signal (d) receives a compensation of hue through a hue compensating circuit 4. These signals are synthesized again at a YC mixer 5 to be stored in a memory 6. A signal (h) read out of the memory 6 is restored to an analog signal (i) through a decoder 7 to be delivered. Then an address generator 9 produces a writing address via an effect control part 14 and a writing start address generator 13 for instance so that the start point of the writing address is modulated with every horizontal sacn and based on a certain function.
