Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a simple circuit which needs no temperature compensation, by a method wherein a temperature, humidity detecting element is connected to fixed resistances, and a time measurement is conducted until a voltage at a connecting point reaches a set voltage value. CONSTITUTION:A temperature, humidity detecting element is connected in series to fixed resistance elements R3 and R4. In the case of the temperature measurement, one end of the resistance element R3 forms an earth level, and in the case of the humidity measurement, one end of the resistance element R4 forms an earth level, which allows a voltage to be intermittently applied. In the case of the humidity measurement, the G1 of a gate control circuit 11 forms an earth level, and after a partial pressure voltage stabilizes, a resistance value of a detecting element is calculated by a given formula to measure the humidity. In the case of the temperature measurement, a pulse voltage is applied from the G2 terminal of the gate control circuit 11. After a pulse voltage is applied, a time to be required until the partial pressure voltage reaches a set voltage value is measured, and a capacity of a detecting element is calculated by a given operational formula to convert it into temperature.
