Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the tower height of a jet-fluidized bed device by a method wherein a shock-absorbing body capable of blocking the upward flow of jetted particles and dropping them without crushing them is provided in the upper space of the jet-fluidized bed. CONSTITUTION:In the jet-fluidized bed 1 such that a particle bed 3 is fluidized by high-speed gas streams introduced through a gas feeding pipe 3, the shock-absorbing body such as a cloth sheet 3 fitted to a conical obstacle body 4 is provided in the upper space. The particles ejected from the bed 3 are prevented from moving further upward and are caused to fall without crushing. Accordingly, the tower height of the jet-fluidized bed device can be reduced, and loss of materials to which the jet-fluidized bed is applied can be reduced, while enhancing economy.
