Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid the change in gain to the variation of position within a fine range toward north-south of a satellite, by making the sectional shape of radiation pattern of an antenna as an ellipse. CONSTITUTION:A radiation pattern 2 of an antenna is longer toward east-west (azimuth) and shorter toward sourth-north (angle of elevation). Compensation is made to the variation of position of a satellite daily to avoid the lowering in gain. A control signal 11 is transmitted from an azimuth controller 12 for the compensation according to the extent of variation to turn a driving motor 10. The driving motor 10 moves an azimuth driving shaft 8 toward east-west with gears 9a, 9b and screw mechanisms 9c, 9d. An antenna mounting 6 moves an azimuth driving shaft 8 toward east-west with the movement of the shaft 8. The chaft 8 moves the antenna mounting 6 around as azimuth rotating center shaft 19, the radiation beam 18 becomes 18' toward new direction of satellite.
