Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the coincidence of a light pen detecting position even by a device which exercises screen control in raster unit, by utilizing the presence of the photodetection signal of a light pen as to a display device on a raster scan basis. CONSTITUTION:At the point in time when a light pen outputs a photodetecting signal, counter data is set in a register 1 and a register set flag 11 is turned on to inhibit the gate 10 of the photodetection signal. A coincidence detecting circuit 2, when the same data as the contents of the register 1 arrives, generates a gate signal which turns on a light pen flag. If a coincidence signal is outputted at this point in time, the light pen flag is set to output a photodetection signal on frame later. When no photodetection signal is outputted, a resetting circuit 13 resets the register set flag 11, and the counter data is set with the next photodetection signal.
