Abstract

PURPOSE: To test disintegration of sample agent at a high reliability by immersing it into a test liquid or taking it out of the liquid with an automatic control mechanism of a testing device which is enabled to oscillated vertically with a reversible motor.
CONSTITUTION: A test liquid 20 in a test vessel 18 is heated with a heater 24 up to the temperature of a gastric juice or an intestinal juice through a sensor 26 and a controller 72. Sample agnets housed into glass tubes 14 of a tester 10 one per tube are immersed into the test liquid 20 with the tester 10. Here, a motor 38 is rotated normally to turn a drum 42 and a link bar 52 reciprocates vertically once each time the drum 42 turns at one cycle. The motion of the vertical oscillation mechanism 36 is transmitted to a hanging machanism 22 by way of an arm bar 34 and a vertical arm 32 so that the tester 10 oscillates vertically in the test liquid 20 whereby the disintegration of the sample is tested in the glass tube 14. An air cushion type shock absorber 66 blocks an intense downward movement thereby ensuring a smooth testing of disintegration of the sample.
