Abstract
PURPOSE:To protect an electromechanical transducer from the breakdown, by setting the sum of the amplitude of a distortion eliminating signal and the level of the reproduction control voltage within the electric field resistant limit of the electromechanical transducer. CONSTITUTION:The sawtooth wave produced from a generating circuit 36 is applied to a reverse input terminal of a differential amplifier 41 in the form of the voltage of waveoform 2 and via a phase reversing circuit 38 plus diodes 39 and 40. A waveform 3 is obtained from the amplifier 41. While a continuance wave 4 is delivered from an oscillator 43 and thus receives an amplitude modulation 42 by the voltage of the waveform 3. An adder 44 adds waveforms 1 and 5 together to obtain the voltage of waveform 6 at an output terminal 45. This voltage is kept between +E and -E and never exceeds this range. As a result, bimorph plates 7a and 7b are never broken.
