Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease occurrence of the crossover distortion and then reduce the electrostatic high frequency noise, by driving the switch element of one side with the forwad pulse of the bipolar pulse duration modulated wave and also the switch element of the other side with the backward pulse respectively. CONSTITUTION:Comparator 3 performs a comparison between the input signal and the output signal of triangular wave generator 2; and comparator 4 gives a comparison between the output signal of phase inverter 1 and the output signal of generator 2 respectively. Then the addition or the subtraction is given to each unipolar pulse duration modulated wave obtained through the above comparison results by addition/subtraction means 24 and 25. Thus the bipolar pulse duration modulated wave is delivered. Switch element 5 is driven via transistor TR26 and with the forward pulse of the modulated wave; and switch element 6 is driven via TR27 and with the backward pulse respectively. In such way, the bipolar pulse duration modulated amplifying action is carried out in order to decrease occurrence of the crossover distortion as well as reduce the electrostatic high frequency noise.
