Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform both displaying of a drawing for temporary viewing and making of a drawing for preservation by providing a mechanism of erasing the visible image on an intermediate medium onto an object to be printed without transferring the same or printing the same. CONSTITUTION:A pin electrode 22 controlled by electric signals is disposed on a dielectric belt 21 moving in an arrow A direction, and voltage is applied to the belt 21 by this electrode 22, whereby an electrostatic latent image is formed. The electrostatic latent image on this belt 21 is developed by a developing part 23, and is made into a temporary toner image. The temporary toner image formed on this belt 21 moves up to the window 24 of the device and stops in a position where it is visible from the outside. In the case of directly viewing this temporary image without going through an optical system, the image can be viewed as so called an erecting image similarly in the case of a CRT.
