Abstract

1454963 Developing electrostatic images FUJI XEROX CO Ltd 9 May 1974 [10 May 1973] 20640/74 Heading G2H A magnetic brush developing apparatus comprises two, or more, closely adjacent magnetic brush rollers, electrically biased to assist development and including at least one roller with a bias differing from the adjacent roller. Preferably the bias voltages of a succession of rollers are all different, some being below the lower voltage limit of the electrostatic latent image being developed and others between the lower and upper limits of the latent image. The voltages applied may increase from the first roller to the last.
