Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a speed signal which corresponds to high speed movement as well and is of low noise by discontinuous position signals indicating the positions of a member and the electric current value signal of a driving motor, in a speed signal generation circuit for a positioning device. CONSTITUTION:A position signal 101 of a triangular wave shape inputs to a differentiator 11, and enters gate signal generators 17, 18 as well. When the signal 101 is within normal level +E2--E2, it is differentiated and according to a selection signal 102, it goes as it is or via an invertor 12 into a sample holder 13, where a speed signal 110 is generated because a sample signal 103 is on. If it is other than the normal level, it is in the discontinuous area of the position signal and since a clamping signal 105 goes on, a sample differentiation signal 107 is applied to the differentiator. The signal 107 holds the differentiation signal while a signal 105 is off, and since a differentiated output 106 is made forcibly equal to the differentiated signal 106 of a continuous area, the fall and rise of the differentiated signal are extremely fast. A minor level difference in the switching output of a switch 13 is eliminated by addition of an electric current value signal 104 to 14.
