Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a water warmer which is installed at low cost and is favorably installed on a tile roofing, by a method wherein hot air in a heat collecting plate, in which corrugated plates are overlapped, is circulated into a hot water tank.
CONSTITUTION: A heat collecting plate 6, placed on a roof 2, is constituted such that a clear corrugate plate 4 is overlapped with an upper surface of a heat receiving plate 3 and an opaque corrugated plate 4' is overlapped with the under surface thereof. A large number of air flow paths 5 are formed on the upper and under surfaces of the heat receiving plate 3, and the upper and the lower ends of the flow path 5 are connected and open to an air collecting pipe 8 and an air feed pipe 7. The air feed pipe 7 is coupled to an inner pipe of a double convection pipe 10 and the air collecting pipe 8 to the outer pipe thereof. The lower end of the convection pipe 10 is connected to a radiation unit which consists of the outer pipe 11 and the inner pipe 12 and is immersed in a hot water tank 14, and the outer and inner pipes 11 and 12 are connected together at the lower end of the radiation unit 15. A fan 13 is mounted at the outlet of the inner pipe 12, and a bimetal 9, positioned at the upper edge of the heat receiving plate 3, controls the fan 13.
