Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce gas leakage and improve efficiency, by providing a reverse moment mechanism which can exert a reverse moment on a rotatably supported stationary vane in the direction opposite to the moment of an eccentric force caused by gass pressure. CONSTITUTION:When a rotary scroll vane 5 is turned by actuating its drive source as its shaft 11 revolves around the shaft 10 of the stationary scroll vane 1 counterclockwise, the gas taken in from a operation chamber 12 to which low pressure flow passage 13 opens is compressed and ejected from a high pressure flow passage 14. Then, in a pressurizing chamber 15 formed by the back face of the stationary scroll plate 12 and casing 4, a high pressure is introduced into high pressure chambers 18, 19 via high pressure flow passage 14 and communication passage 22, and a low pressure is introduced into low pressure chambers 20, 21 via low pressure flow passage 13 and communication passage 23. Further, action of the spring 24 is also added, and the stationary scroll vane 1 receives a moment reverse to the gas pressure moment through a vane 16.
