Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure an easy readjustment of the white balance through the hands of an operator, by giving a report when the output of a color temperature detector under picking-up varies more than a fixed degree compared with the said output during an adjustment. CONSTITUTION:A color temperature detector 16 detects the color temperature of the external light including a subject and condensed by a condenser 15, and gives the output of detection to a color temperature change detector 17. The detector 17 delivers a detection output the output of the detector 16 after an adjustment and the output of the detector 16 under picking-up vary by a prescribed degree. A gate signal genertor 18 delivers a gate signal to an alarm 19 through the detection of the detector 17. The alarm 19 informs the necessity of adjustment to the operator in case the color temperature of the external light varies more than a prescribed degree. Thus the operator adjusts the white balance by varying variable voltage sources 7 and 8. As a result, the picking-up is always possible with a good white blance.
