Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of the connecting part of a heat battery, by connecting an output terminal and a current collecting body for a stacked elementary batteries by means of an output lead wire, which is prepared by stacking not less than two flexible thin plates made of iron or nickel, and by fusing each end of these thin plates to the current collecting body. CONSTITUTION:An output terminal and a current collecting body 2 for a stacked body, which is prepared by stacking elementary batteries, are connected with an output lead wire, which is prepared by stacking not less than two thin plates 1-a and 1-b which are made of iron or nickel and have a high hlexibility. Each of these plates are fused to the body 2 by spot weldings 3-a and 3-b. For instance, the first lead wire 1-a is fused to the outermost end of the body 2 by spot welding 3-a, before the second lead wire 1-b is fused to the inner end of the body 2 by spot welding 3-b. The former output lead wire can be used for both the positive and the negative side of a heat battery. By the means mentioned above, which is preferably applied to a battery which provides a large current and is required to have high strength, the reliability of the connecting part of the battery can be enhanced.
