Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a drop-off of the resilient means of a resilient axis coupling which may be bent at its center by a method wherein a spherical surface flange having a bent central point of the coupling axis is formed at each of the axis connection parts and the resilient means or block is arranged between the flanges so that it may be operated to transmit a power force.
CONSTITUTION: Spherical surface flange 19 having a bent central point o of the axis center is formed at the end part of the output axis 18, and a resilient block 22 composed of a rubber means 20 and adhesive plate 21 is arranged at both side surfces of the spherical surface flange 19. The other surface of the resilient block 22 is held by the spherical plates 24, 26 arranged at the end of the input shaft 23. The spherical surface plates 24, 26 are a spherical surface having a center point o as their axis point. In this arrangement, even if the input shaft 23 is bent at the center point o, no variation is found in a clearance between the contacted surfaces and then it is possible to prevent a generation of the tensile force of the resilient block 22. Therefore, it is possible to prevent a drop-off of the resilient block 22.
