Abstract
PURPOSE: To surely perform the stop of an engine at the time in starting and abnormal states, by detecting a state of no engagement between a starter motor and engine, compensating said state, preheating a glow plug for a certain length of period and automatically performing cranking operation for a certain length of period.
CONSTITUTION: In starter motor starting circuit 1, a main switch S is turned OFF in a state of no engagement between a motor and engine while turned ON in a state of engagement to electrically conduct a transistor Tr. A timer circuit TA, at the time in this state of no engagement, sets starter restarting and cranking periods. A preheating circuit 2 operates when the condition of an AND circuit IC2 is established and sets preheating time with a timer TB. When the AND condition of an AND circuit IC5 is established, an output circuit 3 enables electric conduction for the preheating of a glow plug GP. A stop circuit 4 is operated by water temperature, oil pressure and stop switches 12W14.
