Abstract
PURPOSE: To detect abnormal raise of water level exactly and to enable efficient pumping operation, etc. by providing electric power detector which detects electric power of main circuit of power generator-motor at pumped storage power station plant and by effecting the detection with output of the detector.
CONSTITUTION: When pushing down is instructed while pumping up operation or phase modifying operation, compressed air is sent into draft 3 to push down water level at the moment contact 7 closes. When the water level lowers entirely, water level detector 5 deenergizes water level detecting relay 6 and then relay 8 is activated via contact 6b, and contact 9a-2 closed by relay 9 at the moment contact 8a is closed. On the other hand, deenergization of relay 6 turns system power source 13 in and generator-motor 4 turns runner 2. If water level abnormally raises and touches with runner 2, electric power of system power source 13 rapidly increases, and relay 18 causes contact 18a close and relay 19 is activated to output abnormality detection signal.
