Abstract

PURPOSE:To switch a timepiece function and alarm function in a short time, by producing a signal from a pointer position operating circuit through the selection of the timepiece or alarm function and enabling to move each hand independently. CONSTITUTION:The timepiece consists of a time reference source 9, frequency division dircuit 10, counter circuits 11, 15, alarm count circuit 25, alarm device 30, coincidence circuit 20, control switch circuits 12, 16, waveform conversion and drive circuits 13, 14, electro-mechanical converters 21, 23, train wheels 22, 24, second hand 5, minute hand 6, hour hand 7, and pointer position operation circuits 17, 18. When the timepiece or alarm function is selected with an external member, the minute hand 6, hour 7 and second hand 5 are independently driven and the hands are moved to a given location.
