Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce a convection loss by a method wherein when a transparent plastic film for partitioning the space between a solar heat penetrating body and a heat collecting plate is installed, it is so installed that a gap which is smaller than one-hundredth of the width of the heat collecting plate is left between each of the facing sides of the plastic film and each of the inner side walls of an outer frame.
CONSTITUTION: In case where the transparent plastic film 6 for partitioning the space between the solar heat penetrating body 8 and the heat collecting plate 2 is installed, the plastic film 6 is held stationary by the outer frame 1 in such a manner that the gap (d) of a width of less than one-hundredth of the axial width of the heat collecting plate 2 is provided between the inner side surface of each of heat insulating materials 5 attached to both inner side surfaces of the frame 1 and each of the sides of the transparent plastic material 6 facing the heat insulating materials, respectively, whereby the convections generating around both sides of the plastic film 6 are controled to prevent the lowering of the heat collecting efficiency of the solar heat collector, and the installation of the transparent plastic film can be made in a simple manner.
