Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a laser device provided with a gas regenerator, by replacing all manual valves with solenoid-operated valves to perform exhaust, gas supply and gas-regenerating operations and the like. CONSTITUTION:The laser device provided with a gas regenerator is composed of a plurality of gas supply sources 1, a laser resonator 2, and an exhaust apparatus 3 incorporating a rotary pump 9, a gas regenerator 4 incorporating an electric oven 10, a logical control means 5, a high-pressure generating part 6, a voltage changeover part 7 and a cooling source 8, and solenoid-operated valves are employed for the valves V1-V9 to be provided in the intermediate parts of the respective piping thereof. The laser device is thus constituted, and the logical control means 5 controls the valves V1-V9, the laser resonstor 2, the exhaust apparatus 3, the gas regenerator 4 and the like so that the operations are performed in order of exhaust, supply, regeneration and oscillation and in order of exhaust, supply, oscillation and regeneration. Thus, the troublesome valve operation is eliminated and at the same time, the stoppage of operation at the occurrence of abnormality is readily performed through the selection of buttons.
