CONSTITUTION:If a reproduced control signal from a tape 10 becomes out of phase with a reference signal owing to torque distrubance, etc., the output count value N of a binary counter 9 varies even when the running speed of the tape 10 is equalized to a reference speed because clock pulses (e) vary in frequency. A digital arithmetic part in a microcomputer 8 controls the driving voltage of a motor 1 so that the N is equal to a reference digital value Nr all the time. If the N varies owing to a phase shift, the rotation of the motor 1 is contolled to equalize the N and Nr to each other, thereby eliminating a stationary deviation from the reference value of phase completely and eventually.
