Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A sleeve 4 is split into at least two round pieces. Small-diameter screw threads 10 are integrally provided on an inner end portion of one of the split sleeve pieces 4a, 4b. A nut 11 is engaged with the small-diameter screw threads 10 so that the nut 11 can be moved back and forth in the axial direction. After that, the nut 11 is fitted in a shaft 7 as the sleeve pieces 4a, 4b are opposed to each other across the nut 11. A coupling 5 is then shrinkage-fitted to the shaft 7. When the coupling 5 has returned to the normal temperature, the nut 11 is rotated in the direction of pulling-out. At that time, the sleeve pieces 4a, 4b are pushed and moved in such a direction that the distance between them is increased. A clearance made by thermal contraction is thus eliminated.
