Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of picture quality due to tracking shift which is caused in a steel reproduction mode, by shifting the occurrence position of noise caused by a tracking shift between the record and reproduction modes to avoid the overlap between the position of noise occurrence and a vertical synchronous signal. CONSTITUTION:A switch 36 is switched from the 1st contact of a prescribed speed to the 2nd contact of 0-2cm/s speed, and thus the resetting of an FF64 given by a switch 362 is cancelled. Then a servo loop of a current amplifier 38-a DC servomotor 22-a control head 32-a capstan control circuit 34 is cancelled by a switch 361. In this case, if the noise caused by a tracking shift gets close to the occurrence position of a synchronous signal S22, the FF64 is set. As a result, the output S64 becomes zero with the output of an inverter 70 set at 1 to make a transistor (TR)72 conduct. With conduction of the TR72, a supply of the driving signal S32 is stopped to the motor 22 to stop the shift of a tape 10. With this stopping means, the occurrence position of noise is set within a range where no overlap occurs between the noise occurrence position and a vertical synchronous signal.
