Abstract

PURPOSE: To simply construct a revetment having a large strength by a method in which reclamation is made on an underground anchor formed by combining the main tension members and auxiliary members into a lattice form and a revetment is constructed by a rising wall pivotally attached to the anchor.
CONSTITUTION: In the construction of revetment, a mound 7 of a design depth, e.g., rubble foundation, etc., is first formed on the ground of the sea bed, and then a combination of an anchor A and a wall 6 is sunk and set on the mound 7. The anchor A is formed by combining parallelized plural tension members 1, e.g., of chain, wire rope, steel wire, or shape steel, and parallelized plural auxiliary members 2, e.g., of synthetic fiber, fibrous sheet, rubber mat, or shape steel, into a lattice form, and the wall 6 is connected through a hinge to a steel material 3 fastened to one end side of the main member 1. The anchor A is embedded on which a reclamation is performed, while a spare board 8 is placed, the wall 6 is erected and fixed to the spare board 8 by a tie rod 9, and then soil and sand are filled in the back side of the wall 6 to complete the construction work.
