The signal ST is applied to a carrier trap circuit 3 and only the signal SYW is picked up and applied to an LPF 4 to form a low frequency luminance signal SY with band limit. After the signal SY is synthesized with a composite synchronizing signal SS at a synthesizer 5, the signal is applied to an FM modulator 7 for FM modulation. On the other hand, the signal ST is picked up for the signal SC including the signal SI at a BPF 11, the picked up signals SI and SC are applied to a separation circuit 12 to separate the both.
