CONSTITUTION:Terminal equipments 11, 12-n provided in many machines 1, 2-N are connected to an input/output device 24 of an operating time totalizing device 21. The input/output device 24 is connected to a discriminating part 25, which selects pertinent items out of unoperating items 25a, 25b- by electric signals transmitted from terminal equipments 11-n, and a timer 26 which sets the power-on time of the device 21. The time from the timer 26 and the time when the signal from the discriminating part 25 is received are accumulated and totalized, and operating times are calculated and operated in a part 27, and operation results are stored in a storage part 28, and contents are displayed on a CRT device 29 and are printed out by a device 30. In case of unoperating due to an unknown cause, the unoperating time is totalized temporarily, and it is totalized correctly when the cause is confirmed. Thus, the operating ratio is improved.
