Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an efficient optical scanner, by combining in parallel pattern group and two kinds X-shaped pattern groups different in cross angle to obtain a scanning pattern while using a hologram disc for forming this pattern. CONSTITUTION:Scanning lines 33 and 34 reflected by a plane mirror 30 generate two parallel patterns 37 on a scanning face 36, and scanning line groups 33-35 reflected by a plane mirror 31 generate X-shaped patterns 38 on the scanning face 36, and scanning line groups 33-35 reflected by a plane mirror 32 generate X-shaped patterns 39 having cross angles acuter than that of X-shaped patterns 38. Information of the reflected light from the scanning face 36 is reflected by plane mirrors 30-32 and is made incident to holograms 27-29. Reflected lights from them are condensed to a pin hole 10 through a perforated mirror 25 by holograms. The condensed light is converted to an electric signal by a photoelectric detector 41 and is read by a signal processing circuit.
