Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the dispersion of the polishing powder in a disc grinder, by confining the polishing powder in the area surrounded by the cover and the bellows during the polishing work, then collecting forcefully through a suction hose. CONSTITUTION:A local cover 3 is arranged between the grinder 1 and the grindstone 2 while a transparent cover 4 is secured in front of the cover 3. A bellows 5 expandable up and down is secured below the outer-circumference of the cover 3 and the transparent cover 4 to cover the grindstone 2. A suction hose 6 is penetrated through the upper face of the cover 3 and the terminal is connected to an electric cleaner on the like. When pressing the bellows 5 against the polishing member while placing the grindstone 2 in parallel while holding the grinder tail handle 7 and the front handle 8, an area tightly closed by the grinding member and the grinder 1 is produced thereby the dust powder produced through the polishing can be collected from said area through a suction hose 6.
