Abstract

PURPOSE:To decorate a heat-resistant resin surface with multicolor pattern by dyeing particularly a three-dimensionally curved surface, by transferring once a pattern layer from a transferring material to a pad for transfer, further transferring it from the pad for transfer to a surface of heat-resistant resin, then performing a heat dyeing treatment. CONSTITUTION:A transferring material 4 of which a wax layer 2 is formed on a substrate sheet 1 and a pattern layer 3 is formed with an ink containing a heat- migrating dye on it is heated and at least the pattern layer 3 is transferred to the surface of a pad for transfer 5 by press-contacting the pattern layer 3 of said transferring material 4 and said pad for transferring 5. After that, at least the pattern layer 3 is transferred to a surface of said heat-resistant resin 6, then a surface of said resin 6 is dyed by making the heat-migrating dye in said pattern layer 3 to migrate into said heat-resisting resin 6 by dry or wet heating.
