Abstract
PURPOSE:To flow busy tone and howler tone among subscribers with a simple circuit, by efficiently using functions such as a crossbar switch and an outgoing register. CONSTITUTION:A part which is conventional called as a market is repalced with a CPU 12. When the subscriber 1 hooks up a handset, a subscriber circuit 4 de- tects it and is connected to the CPU 12. The CPU 12 seeks a vacant link of a crossbar switch 7 and connects the line up to an outgoing register 9, seeks a called party and if the party is busy, the outgoing register 9 is turned off and the line is disconnected. Thus, the crossbar switch 7 can immediately have vacant lines and the switch can be used for other calls. The circuit 4 detects the register 9 which is turned off and connects an applying line 3' to the circuit 4 itself and this is given to the subscriber 1. In this case, the crossbar switch 7 and the trunks are not used at all. After a busy tone is given to the subscriber 1 for a prescribed time, if the subscribers does not return the handset to the original state yet, the tone is switched into a howler tone.
