Abstract

PURPOSE:To generate a test call without using a test call generator, by using an outgoing sender trunk when generating the test call. CONSTITUTION:Outgoing sender trunks OSTO OSTi are constituted that a relay (not shown) is driven and a dial pulse is transmitted under the control of a controller CONT. Dial information for a test call is stored in the CONT according to an outgoing sender trunk. For the generation of the test call, the CONT brings an arbotrary outgoing trunk, e.g., OSTO into a calling state and connects the trunk with an outgoing register trunk ORT via a route (1), drives a relay in the OSTO and transmits the dial information for test call from the OSTO to the ORT. Based on this dial information, routes (2) and (3) are established and the operation connecting an intra-office subscriber SUB to the OSTO is the same as conventional test calls.
