Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency of usage of relay lines, by transmitting the information possible for storage through the use of time band not used by a relay line with instant call. CONSTITUTION:When a relay line 10 is not used by an instant call, a channel switch 2 connects an MODEM6 and a relay line trunk 3, and as a result, an information storage means 5 and the relay line 10 are connected. After the information of storable call from a calling source 4 is once stored in the storage means 5, it is transmitted to the relay line 10 via the MODEM6 and the relay line trunk 3. When an instant call is produced at a generating source 1 of instant call, this is detected at a central control device 7, the connection between the MODEM6 and the trunk 3 is interrupted by controlling the channel switch 2, and the relay line 10 is used for instant call to connect the instant call generating source 1 and the trunk 3.
