Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the reliable positioning of the wiring of the external lead of a fluorescent lamp to be connected with leads, by providing a section for stopping the lead of a starter lamp at the supporting chip section of chassis. CONSTITUTION:A chassis 1 is equipped with a hollow tubular section 2 at one end while a male screw section 3 for fixing a base is provided on the outer-circumferential face at the tip side of said tubular section 2. A base 5 is fixed on said tubular section 2 while a wall section 30 is provided on a supporting chip section 24 of a fixing member 14. The leads 29a, 29b of a starter lamp 28 to be connected with external leads 33a, 34a are stopped at both edges 31, 32 31 of said wall section 30. Consequently the wiring of said leads 29a, 29b and the external leads 33a, 34a is positioned on the surface at the base side 5 of the supporting chip section 24.
