Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to manufacture ink jet nozzles with a high dimensional accuracy and reproducibility by a method wherein desired ink jet nozzles are formed by combining fine holes provided in 2 sheets of metal plate respectively. CONSTITUTION:A recessed part having unifoliate hyperbolic stretch is formed in a metal sheet by punch press method so that its depth reaches the thickness of the sheet and an orifice back sheet 1 having a fine hole 2 is obtained by grinding and removing projected part protruded back of the sheet. A fine hole 12 of a fixed diameter less than the minimum diameter of said fine hole 2 is formed in a metal sheet by punch press method and an orifice sheet 11 is obtaibed by grinding and removing burrs protruded to the back of the sheet. Fine holes 2, 12 of both sheets 1, 11 are adjusted in position accurately and both sheets are laminated and integrated by diffusion welding.
