Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the yield of metallic meshes while prevening fracture, etc. by applying electroplating in two layers on a master pattern formed on a non- conductive substrate, thereby forming a strippable adhered parts and non-adhered metallic mesh parts.
CONSTITUTION: Chromium vapor deposited to about 700W800Å thickness on a smooth surface of a substrate 11 such as glass, and a master pattern consisting of master meshes 121, reinforcing lines 122, stripping lines 123 and peripheral parts 13 is formed by an electron beam lithography method etc. This is treated with concd. nitric acid to form passive films uniformly on the pattern.
