Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect the runaway of a program in a quick and assured way, by checking the operation code during execution of the program with use of a storing means which stores the information meaning a fault. CONSTITUTION:A timing signal is delivered from an NAND circuit NA1 to a latch circuit 3 in the fetching cycle of the operation code, and the operation code is latched. This operation code is used for an address of a storage device 4, and the device 4 delivers the executing cycle data stored in accordance with the operation code to a counter 5. A load pulse is applied to the counter 5 from a 1-shot multivibrator 7, and the executing cycle data is preset to the counter 5. Then a fault signal E is delivered from the device 4 in case when a code other than the operation code is latched to the circuit 3 in the timing at which the operation code should arrive after a program had a runaway.
