Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase capacity of a die cushion device, and to constitute it so as to be handled easily by a simple structure, by incorporating a piston and a pin in a bolster of a press machine, and providing a circuit for feeding pressurized oil adjusted to constant pressure, on an oil pressure chamber. CONSTITUTION:On a bolster 2 fixed to a bed 1 of a press machine, a piston 4 is provied, and a head part of a pin 6 is inserted into an oil pressure chamber placed on the lower side of the piston 4. The lower end of the pin 6 is brought into abutment on the surface of a pad 7a of an air die cushion devide 7. To the oil pressure chamber 5, pressurized oil is fed from an oil pump 13. On this oil pumpn 13, limit switches LS3, LS4 are provided, and a solenoid changeover valve 12 is switched. To the changeover valve 12, air of constant pressure is fed through a pressure-reducing valve 11, and pressurized oil is fed to the oil pressure chamber 5. A lifting limit of the air die cushion devide 7 is detected by a limit switch LS1, the pressure-reducing valve 11 is adjusted, and its lowering limit is detected by a limit switch LS2, and the press machine is subjected to an emergency stop.
