Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a rotary solenoid enable to send out intermittent motion with extremely simple constitution by a method wherein a clutch member consisting of a magnetic material is equipped to a rotor interposing springs between them. CONSTITUTION:The clutch member 13 consisting of the magnetic material is inserted on a shaft 5, and the V-shaped springs 14a, 14b protruding toward the lower part are provided on the base of the clutch member thereof. The clutch member 13 is in the situation being put on the upper face of the rotor 6 interposing the springs 14a, 14b between them when no current is fed to a coil 7, and a gap corresponding to the amount of the protruding part of the springs 14a, 14b is formed between the clutch member 13 and the upper face of the rotor 6 at this time. When a current is fed to the coil 7, the rotor 6 starts reciprocating rotatinal motion, and at the same time, the clutch member 13 consisting of the magnetic material transfers toward the lower part overcoming spring force of the springs 14a, 14b according to mangetic force generated between the rotor 6 and the clutch member 13. Accordingly intermittent motion can be obtained.
