Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the pass loss of a UHF band, by avoiding the passing of two times through a bi-directional branching filter for the UHF signal.
CONSTITUTION: The UHF and VHF signals pass through the HPF and LPF sides of a UHF-VHF branching filter. The UHF signal is amplified by a UHF amplifier 12 and then delivered to an output terminal 14 through an HPF within a U-V branching filter 13 of the output side. While the VHF signal delivered from a U-V branching filter 11 is applied to a bi-directional branching filter 15 and amplified by a VHF amplifier 16 after passing through an HPF. The amplified VHF signal passes through an HPF of a bi-directional branching filter 17 and then through an LPF of the filter 13 to be delivered to the terminal 14. On the other hand, the ascending signal is fed to the terminal 14 and branched through the LPF of the filter 13 and the LPF of the filter 17 and passes the LPFs of the filters 15 and 11 to be delivered to an input terminal 10.
