Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a device and to secure accommodation of a disk by providing a disk playing means movably in the disk array direction, and allowing a disk moving means to return to the home position when a door is opened. CONSTITUTION:A disk insertion opening 3 is formed on the front of a device body 4 which contains plural disks 2 and plays them automatically, and a disk storage part is provided near the insertion opening 3 to facilitate the loading and unloading of the disks. A door 5 for blocking the insertion opening 3 is fitted to the device body 4 in a free opening and closing state, and this door 5 is opened and closed with a door switch 1 provided on the front surface of the main body. Once the door 5 is opened, a door control part allows a disk moving means including a slider to return to the home position without fail.
