Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a molding material for automobile interior and exterior finish, which has improved coatability and resistance to cold and heat, by blending a linear satd. polyester resin and a rubber reinforced resin with a thermo≃ plastic polyester elastomer.
CONSTITUTION: 36W70pts.wt. thermoplastic polyester elastomer (A), 20W40pts.wt. linear satd. polyester resin (B) and 10W35pts.wt. rubber reinforced resin (C) are blended together in a proportion such that the amount of component A is larger than that of component B and the combined amount of components A, B, C accounts for 100pts.wt. When the amount of component A is less than 36pts.wt., sufficient cold resistance and flexibility can not be imparted. When the amount exceeds 70pts.wt., coatability and moisture resistance are lowered. When the amount of component B is less than 20pts.wt., an improving effect on moisture resistance is insufficient. When the amount exceeds 40pts.wt., coatability is lowered. Thus, such an amount is not preferred.
